beovision 4 dark screen issue

So please,can anybody tell me, if the old beovision 4(the one with the bezel front) has the light sensor situated in the infrared "eye". I mean that object separated from the tv, that receive the remote control signals.And in Yes, is there a way to disable it???

Depends on the model and sw version. Later models came with the auto contrast IR eye.

Or look at the IR eye. The basic version has just 3 wires connected, the later one 7 or 8, not sure.
