Dear all,

first off, is this possible?

I have a spare Beogram CDX2 I would like to connect to a Beovision 6-22 in my daughter's bedroom.  The CDX has RCA outputs.  The Beovision has L+R RCA inputs (for PC according to the user manual) and of course the AV 21 pin SCART input.  I've tried all sorts and can't get it to work.  Any ideas on how to connect these two?

Many thanks in anticipation,

Dave.

The BV6-22 has camcord RCA' on the leftside. Try that with using the Camcord instruction on the Beo4. Normally, the Bv6 will switch automatically after connecting a videosource to it's Cam RCA's, but because there isn't any signal on it's videocomposite RCA, it doesn't switch by itself. So, have to help it a little.

A alternative would be using the Scart on the back.

After getting sound, you should/could set the BV in the AV-(source). Picture will then be muted.

Sorted!

I was using the camcorder option but the moral to this tale is to not trust a 15 year old.  The CD being used was a CD-R which was supposedly recorded but was in fact BLANK.  Serves me right for not checking first!

Thanks to Matt at Lifestyle-AV and Beobuddy.

Dave.

That's probably one of the few 15yrs old that know s what a cd is Big Smile The lot are using mp3's instead of cd's, I guess.
