Well it's been a year now since my first Beolit 12 experience, and my first experience and beliefs in its woeful wireless capabilities still stand.

But with a week sat by the pool in Murcia Spain with my 3 kids upon me, something had to be done. With images of the Bose mobile system in my mind I collected my thoughts and phin

But with a week sat by the pool in Murcia Spain with my 3 kids upon me, something had to be done. With images of the Bose mobile system in my mind I collected my thoughts and phin Beovision 11-46, Beovision 8-26, Beovision 3-32, Avant RF 28, Beosound 8, Beocom 2, Beotime, a shed load of A8's and Form 2's. Beo 4's and a 6.

Sorry, I've been drinking some crazy whiskey called "Fire Water" and its not done my finger coordination much good :-)

Any phoned Martin in Newcastle and we are now on our second day of great sounds by the pool. Connecting it to my phone with a USB cable not only delivers better sound but less interruptions.

Interestingly when using Beolit setup with it connected to my phone it didn't recognise the device, but when it overheated sudden a message appeared on my phone to tell me so. Originally wanted to check its battery life. It's been going for four hours now no problem.

The A8 is still a better and more stable device, but the portability and sound from the Beolit are amazing.

Took it to a party on Saturday night and interestingly none if the women liked it and they all preferred the Sonos the owners had. So much for its more female design!!!

Ill get Martin to post a tacky pic.

Cheers everyone

I've had mine for a fortnight now and I love it.

The airplay isn't up too much admittedly. I now have the airport extreme router on the kitchen window (since my mac hard drive disintergrated on me) which is next to the patio area so the airplay works fine no dropouts but then Beolit is never far away from the wifi which will be why, so we can sit on the decking using the ipad as a music menu.

However I too took mine to a party on Saturday and everyone could stick their iphones into the usb jack and play away. The sound quality and presence from such a little unit still amazes me as it did everyone and I am yet to find anyone who isn't keen on the design me especially (though if you saw my wardrobe you would probably guess why!!)

Got it reconned from B+O for £449 so I cannot fault it whatsoever. I think possibly though the £599 price mark may just slightly push it but then asked if I would buy it for that.................eye life is too short after all!!!

Just need a holiday now and get it a passport

My murcian experience (I say this because I live in Murcia ) with Beolit is very positive. I am very satisfied with his indoor use, and also with the outdoor. Initially I had problems of wifi's connection, because the sign was weak in the second plant and in the terrace, but I solved it with a PLC like this one:

In any way, to use a Usb cable is a great solution in the outdoor use IMOH, because when one is in the swimming pool, playing with the children, etc to have an iPhone in the hand or in the pocket is not usually a good idea...

5 1/2 hours airplay on the decking and the battery is just about to die
