Hay all.
currently I have a LC2 in the wire from the ceiling rose to the light fitting so I can control my light from the beo4.
has anyone worked out a decent way of fitting a ceiling fan and still keeping the light control???
cheers all

I'm guessing that what your asking is could you control the fan from the LC2 - yes?
Your message doesn't quite make sense to me. What do you mean by "still keeping the light control"? Do you mean still using the LC2 to control a light and adding a fan somehow or what?
Hi there
sorry what i meant was i currenty have the LC2 in line in the cable from the ceiling rose and this controls the light
what i would like to a ceiling fan but to keep my remote light.
the LC2 should still control the light but the ceiling fan should take its feed from the light circuit and be operated by its own pull cord.
cheers
Edit: I suppose I could mount the LC2 on the ceiling and run the cables up into the plaster and back to the light for the light switch side of things.
Would the IR go through a moving fan?
Just have 2 separate mains feeds, one to the fan and the other to the LC2 and a lead out from the LC2 to the light.
If you are mounting a fan where the ceilibng rose is/was, I presume this is in the centre of the ceiling, if so where is the light - on the ceiling near the fan?
Just remember that the on/off for the fan will have to by the pull cord as of course switching off power will disable both the fan and the LC2's light!
Your edit suggests the light is some way from the rose and the LC2. Where exactly is the light positioned?
