The unit powers up however has a fault sometimes it works first time, and other occasions it will turn off, on its own. Or will not power up at all, maybe a heat problem, I know the voltage trimmers need changing, and the big capacitors near power supply, are old will be replaced.

However in this unit you have 3 voltage trimmers, 2 near the emitter resistors, and then 1 on the right near power supply.

Will all need replacing, what is the third one for, on the right near power supply?

Also are the voltage trim pots in this unit 5 kom resistance each pot?

And what is the voltage on each emitter resistor, when multimeter is fitted, with new trim pots fitted, please.

Thanks to all posts. And all help.

All this info is found in the service manual.
As a gold member you can download it from our main website.
Servicing B&O is not always easy. If you are not 100% sure what you do, you really should
consider leaving servicing to an experienced tech guy.
