I would like to connect a Beogram 4004 to a BeoCenter 9000; so first off, will this combination work with the limited remote functions of the 4004?
I am sure my Beogram 8002 would be a more natural combination, but it came with RCA plugs, so the remote feature is not possible.
If the BG4004 is compatible with the BC9000 is it possible to replace the two missing pins in the DIN connector? If it is, how do you do this?

The Beogram 4004 can't understand modern Datalink codes I'm afraid.
The Beogram 8002 cable can be detached from the back of the turntable, just find another double shielded cable to plug right in
Vinyl records, cassettes, open reel, valve amplifiers and film photography.
I was afraid that would be the answer due to the age of the BG 4004. Thanks Søren for the suggestion vis-à-vis the BG 8002. I'll look into this.
Soundsheavenly, who advertise at the bottom of most pages of the forum, can supply the correct cable for your 8002.
