Hi there

I've been looking at how I can negate the blooming effect I get on my 11 with its Dynamic Contrast. I watch a lot of films late at night in a dark environment , and anytime there is a dark scene with a bright image, a dirty great big rectangle appears across the screen where the bright bit is.

It doesn't happen a lot but when it does its really distracting. Anyway I found this breakdown of panel technologies which might be interesting to the less the technologically informed as others..

As somebody who has always preferred the detail or image on an LCD panel over Plasma, I have to say this wouldn't happen with Plasma so if your planning a dark environment for film watching, get a 12-65!

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.
