BeoGram CDX Display

Is it possible to change the LCD display in my BeoGram CDX.

And can the display still be bought.

It's not LCD but LED.

Yes, it can be replaced.
No, it's no longer available from B&O.

It's typical to see individual green track-numbers missing or intermittent, they
are individual LEDs and their solder joints crack.

Hi Martin,

It's the number LED display that's shows what track/time, all the individual number work OK.

Is it possible to purchase a new number display.

You'll have to find a duff CDX, CDX2 or CD3300 for parts. I used a CD3300 one to repair my CDX display.

This new design comes from a very serious, dedicated craftsman who does it to save vintage CD players, not to make money!
