Just sharing a thought...

I saw an offer on Hut for an A3 for about £170 with a free digital camera worth £50.  I am looking to buy my daughter a digital camera that will probably be dropped and bashed a few hundred times, hence, looking for something cheap.

Effectively I would get the camera that I need and an A3 for £120.  I have an ipad that fits, but then it got me thinking, I really don't need or want an A3, it serves absolutely no purpose whatsoever for me, even if I was given one for free I wouldn't really want it, at worst it would gather dust and at best I would put it on eBay.

If I compare an A3 to my Beotime, both of which are not that expensive by B&O standards, the Beotime is certainly not something I needed but is 100% something I wanted.  It is beautiful to hold and look at; it is completely different from anything else on the market and performs some fun functions that gives me pleasure to use.  I realise the A3 is part of the Beoplay range designed for mass consumption, whereas the Beotims is not, but why not apply the same principle to Beoplay.

I'm not sure if this opens up a topic of discussion, but as said, sharing my thoughts.

My opinion on A3, I think I would not byu even if I had ipad, A3 looks just as it is, a box.

Second opinion, if you get cheaply made digital camera, your daughter drops it only once, not few hundred times, it doesnt last that long. Belive me, I have experieted that. Surprise

 blah-blah and photographs as needed

Different products for different people.  We have a house full of B&O TVs and link rooms and the product that gets by far the most use by the wife and kids is the A3, in fact we have three of them that are all in daily use.

Indeed, we all have different tastes..I bought my A3 when there was a 50% discount of the BeoPlay website.

And I hadn't even bought an Ipad yet Stick out tongue

This is B&O's most portable system after the Serenata!Big Smile

I love my A3! It breathed new life into an unused iPad 1. Great for the baby's room, for her and for me ;)
