Hello

I am having a problem with my Avant TV.  I can switch it on, view DVDs and listen to CDs, turn the TV using its motor, but when i press the DTV button on the remote, nothing happens.  The TV is linked to an Icecrypt freeview box and has been working fine for years.

Any ideas how to get the DTV button working again?

thanks

Check your setup/socket/connections menu.

One of the inputs have to be set as dtv or sat with th corresponding scart.

Thanks.

Everything was set up fine and I have been using the TV for years.  Suddenly I could not turn on the DTV.  I can turn on the DVD using the Beo4, so it looks to me like the remote and the TV itself are OK.  The problem might be with the digital freeview box and/or the IR blaster.  The freeview box (Icecrypt) turns on and off OK but does not respond to the Beo4 when trying to change channel -  so I am wondering if it is the IR blaster.  I have ordered another one.

Is there any way to check if an IR blaster is working - I read somewhere that a tiny light flashes when a button is pressed on the remote?

thanks
