Hi,

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to repair an Earset 1 at home? The cable connection into the earpiece is very loose which means that it either doesn't work or if I mess around with it I can get a crackly sound but not good enough to hold a conversation.  The arrow in the  picture below shows where the cable is loose....

Thanks

Dan

Pretty sure that the advised repair route is to replace Sad

However nothing to lose trying to take it apart - but at a guess it will not be made to take apart.

Thanks Peter,

There is no obvious way of taking it apart - I wonder if anyone has tried before or if there is a tech guide or something?

Dear Dan,

Did you get it fixed?

I've got a similar Problem: My Beocom4 recently does not recognise the Earset, so I don't know now whether the Handset ist not in order or the Earset ist damaged.Sad

I'd need at least the pinning / tech doc for the Earset to test this (unfortunately nobody around - even the B&O retailers have an beocom 4 working, so I was not able to test this out)Angry

Maybe you cold tell me the pin assignment and / or el. Characteristics of the Earset?

Many Thanks in advance

Gerhard
