Hi Folks !
I was just able to get a nice Beosystem 7000 with ampli and CD player. It works BUT, the CD tray mechanism is not aligned with the front cover. There are 3-4mm of space. This offset is Inside, it does not get out of the front cover.
As I cleaned the system (and already did for another one), I remove the top cover. I look at the mechanism in charge of ejecting the CD, but I was not able to find something to tune. There are stickers indicating screws that are responsible for height alignement, but nothing for the CD tray.
Does anyone already have this problem and was able to solve it ? I can live with it but if it is something I can correct, that will be perfect :)
Cheers,
Sergio
At the rear of the left tray mounting rod is a plastic end stop that can be adjusted with an allen key. The stop is pressed into the floor of the case.

I just try to do the hack, but I was not able to find the stop... Here is a pictures of what it looks like from behind.
Can you spot where the piece is ? I really look into it but I was not able to spot it. There are several white plastic pièces, but none seems to halt the CD tray....

Immediately to the rear of the left hand sliding arm, in your picture, is a white wheel with what appears to be teeth on it. You turn that with an allen key to adjust the back stop.
Thanks you very much !!! I was perplex about this little wheel... I do not look under the case, my mistake.
Everything is perfect now !
