Hello,

I own an old BEOVISION AVANT and my remote control is not working anymore.

(http://www.muellerleipzig.de/Download/3508009-D-Beov-Avant-99UG.pdf)

At the back of the TV are some buttons:

  1. EJECT
  2. REWIND
  3. V.TAPE
  4. SAT
  5. TV
  6. Play Timer

But there is no volume control? Is there any button combination to change the volume without remote control? A new B&O remote control would cost more than the value of the TV. I did buy a RM-Series ™ Remote B&O BEOVISIONMX2000 but it does not work.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you use the TV daily, then a second hand Beo4 or Beolink 1000 should not cost a lot ?

What remote do you have now, and how is it not working ?

If you want it really cheap, this one would be something for you.

I would prefer a second hand bl1000. You can get them often for under 50€. It's a real bang & olufsen remote and no plastic trash.

@ Beolce

I second that motion...

The BL1000 pretty much does everything you ask it to. Smile

No need for hidden menus, and it uses far fewer clicks, and you can use it without even looking at the remote!

The AV terminal was by far the best one, since it had both the SHIFT & the CTRL function!

Hi Martin,

my remote looks like this: http://www.ebay.de/itm/B-O-Bang-Olufsen-Beo4-Beo-4-Fernbedienung-mit-DVD-Taste-/282099006017?hash=item41ae693a41:g:7ysAAOSwAvJXC3g9

Would the  bl1000 work with my TV?

Thank you ...

It will work, but the buttons are named different.

TV=TV

SAT=DTV

V.TAPE=V.MEM

DVD=SHIFT+SAT

etc.
