A question for all the vintage experts:

Which speaker is best with the BM2400?

Which one(s) were launched with it?

My personal belief is the Beovox s45-2 is the best match. I have this combination.

I have seen people use anything from the Beovox s30 to the s75 (I believe the amp is not sufficiently powerful to do these larger speakers justice).

If the Beomaster will be mounted on the wall than I would use P30.

Otherwise as the Andrew suggested.

By the way: any news about nice little BG610VF with the dust cover from Denmark? Smile

The reason why I asked about the BM2400 and speakers, is that I actually bought the other BeoGram from your seller - a BeoGram 2202.

As I already have the BM2400 (which I bought for my mother years ago) and 2 BeoVox S30 (which my wife yeaaaars ago had bought),

I thought that this could be a nice Little combo.set up in the basement (rather than stored on a shelve).

Just for fun - certainly not for everyday use - that is too oldschool Stick out tongue

P30s were the first speakers I had with a BM2400 - not that great. I used S75s for many years and they were superb - the 2400 is conservatively specified as 30W a channel but it peaks quite a bit higher. S45-2s are the speakers recommended by B&O.
