Hi all,

I was wondering, is it possible to send a stereo SUB signal to B&O active subwoofers using  a powerlink cable, whilst using both channels (so without omitting / discarding one channel)?

In other words are they able to perform the R+L inside the speaker?

If only one channel on the powerlink cable is actively receiving, which pin would that be (left or right channel)? I know that normally one pin is sub and the other center...

Kind regards,

Robert.

Hi,

Both the BeoLab 11 and the BeoLab 2 take the PowerLink input, sum the left and right channels and send the result to the filter-amplifcation-driver(s). They cannot be put in a mode where they use only one of the two channels on the PowerLink cable.

You can choose to put the BeoLab 19 in this mode using its L / R / L+R switch.

Cheers

Hi Geoff,

Thanks for the info. Do you (or anybody else) by any chance know how a powerlink cable with combined center / sub signals is wired.

Is center - left / right, same sub - left/right?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Robert.
