I became the proud owner of V1 last week but when the dealer installed it they could not find a PUC to enable Virginmedia HD STB control via the Beo4 . B&O say the remote needs to be sent to them!

anybody else had this experience?

It is quite a normal thing. B&O's PUC functionality requires that new devices/remotes are sent to B&O for whatever they do with it to offer you and hopefully other who use this box a single-remote experience.

Is the Virgin v+ not working for that box? This one is in the v1 now but i'm not shure if this work on yours.

We are thinking of changing to Sky , and it turns out it will be cheaper too than Virgin. I'm assuming B&O have a PUC for Sky. Does anybody know?

Thanks Keith.

Useful link. A move to Sky sounds like it'd give us slow broadband ,so this list should be useful for talk with Virgin.

Hi Simon, there should be a PUC for Virgin Media TIVO - is this not the one you need? I have used it many times

Hi Martin.

thats what we are going to do; change to a TiVo with Virgin. All booked. Very pleased with the TV and looking forward to controlling it all with Beo4 or IPad app.
