I became the proud owner of V1 last week but when the dealer installed it they could not find a PUC to enable Virginmedia HD STB control via the Beo4 . B&O say the remote needs to be sent to them!
anybody else had this experience?
Beo Century ,Beoplay V1, Beocenter 6, Ex-Beolit 12, Beotime , A8. Beolit 15 , Form 2i , Beolab 2000, Beoplay A3.Beosound 1
It is quite a normal thing. B&O's PUC functionality requires that new devices/remotes are sent to B&O for whatever they do with it to offer you and hopefully other who use this box a single-remote experience.
We are thinking of changing to Sky , and it turns out it will be cheaper too than Virgin. I'm assuming B&O have a PUC for Sky. Does anybody know?
yes they do I have sky hd no problems

Your can see the current status of teh B&O PUC library HERE

Thanks Keith.
Useful link. A move to Sky sounds like it'd give us slow broadband ,so this list should be useful for talk with Virgin.
Hi Martin.
thats what we are going to do; change to a TiVo with Virgin. All booked. Very pleased with the TV and looking forward to controlling it all with Beo4 or IPad app.
Just to update my old post; I discovered today my 7 year old found the Beo4 controls the virginmedia box . But there's no puc or ir blaster installed?
how does this work?
