we have a BeoCenter 1 (same TV as a Beovision 1 but with Masterlink) in a guest bedroom and it has an old STB controller chip dated around 2001, so it does not list any UK Freeview boxes

we have a spare Humax PVR-9200T which at the moment is plugged into the AV scart of the BC1 and it works fine, but it would be nice to use the Beo4 remote to control the Humax as well

which STB chip version had the 9300T or 9200T on it, it looks like the latest Western Europe 4.43 version is too new for me ?

super, thanks Guy for confirming, is that on the Western Europe chip v4.25 ?

I just found a spare STB-C module for the BeoCenter 1 type 85xx but is has a v3.2 chip

the instructions that came with it look pretty easy, the swinging up the back of the TV 45 degrees to get access to the 61IC5 chip looks like a 2 man job :-)

I bought the chip in UK so I presume it's the Western Europe one. I checked with the supplier (ava services) that it had the humax box listed, and fitted it myself to a bv3.
