My BV 7-40 works very well with the Humax Fox T2 PVR. However given that Humax don't seem to have updated this box at all in the 2 years I have had it, I see little prospect that it will ever support ITV Player, Channel 4 player or any form of on-demand service.
The Humax Youview DTR T 1010 option seems like the potential answer or perhaps the the new HDR-2000T (although this does not have Youview). Has anyone had experience of using either of these devices on the BV 7-40 and is this supported by the latest puc update? (i am guessing at the very least I shall need to update the PIC)
many thanks
Keith
Really, has no-one any experience of using the new Humax Youview box with the BV7 ?, and I really the first to want to integrate proper catch up TV services ?
If so then I shall treat as a trail blazing project and report back
Yeah - just try it out, and you will be the first to report

There is a tv - and there is a BV
Hi Keith,
Please do report back if you try the DTR-T1010 as I am also considering this box.
I have discovered a couple of things whilst researching this box:-
1) It is apparently identical to the previous youview box (model DTR-T1000) as far as the hardware and software are concerned (the case has had a significant makeover though), so maybe worth checking whether the dealer has a PUC listed for that model if they are not yet showing anything for the DTR-T1010
2) The box will not output properly via HDMI and SCART at the same time (the menus, overlays etc will not be output to the SCART connector whilst an HDMI cable is plugged in) - this may be significant if you wish to modulate the analogue output for link room TVs.
Martin.
I have pondered over the DTR-T1010; What HiFi gave it a thumbs up http://www.whathifi.com/review/humax-dtr-t1010 but was hoping it will be updated at some point with WiFi.
Please give us a report Keith
