Hi,
Been away from it all for a while and my knowledge base has diminished somewhat. I would like to have any opinions people on Beoworld have for the following setup:-
I'm running Beolab 3's from Playmaker. I run Windows 8.1 with Beoplayer (still like it) or WMP12.
Streaming seems to be a dog and all I want to do is connect (preferably) Beoplayer so that everything runs through the PC/Network into the Playmaker. I did similar thing with a Bluetooth Logitech adapter but the quality/dropouts/disconnections was a PIA.
With WMP12, you can select the files to stream - but hardly convenient. I just want to have my entire library ready to source to Playmaker combo. I suspect I need a good Media Streamer/Player or to configure my PC better.
Anything considered provided:-
1. It has Playmaker and is WIN8.1 compatible and relatively simple/reliable
2. Does not have any Apple content.
Thanks
10.
Hi Mr. 10%,
you should be able to use the 'Play To' feature of Windows 8 to stream to the Playmaker.
Have a look at this tutorial:

Hi MM
Yes indeed, this is possible but requires prior selection of tracks or albums.
I require that the media player streams everything to the Playmaker without selection. i.e. acts as instead as either the PC's loudspeaker or earphone output only.

This is not possible with DLNA.
But you could use AirFoil:

to do this with the AirPlay function of the Playmaker.
