When trying to program the recording of a Channel (Sat) the tv does not record anything. Harddisk is empty, the programming is still in Timer-Index.
One-touch recording works.
What's wrong?
And: yes, there is the correct time setting.

I had a similar problem with my BV11/40 which was set to record from BBC4, but the recording was blank although registered on the hard disk. The problem seemed to be a fault with the tuning. When the TV was switched to BBC4 manually there was nothing there until the beo4 was pressed twice. The automatic internal switching of the TV to this channel left the recording blank. I cured the problem by retuning all the channels, following which the channel changing and recording worked properly, so I would recommend you do a retune before looking for other faults.

Tranks Graham,
what do you mean with retune?
Creating a new list of favourites?
Or deleting all channels, search them again and create a new list of favourites? How do i geht rid of all channels? And BTW, what really sucks is that you have to create all your lists using the Beo 4. No chance doing that on your pc.
I just did a full channel search and retune as if I was setting up the TV again for the first time. A favourites regrouping will presumably still leave the channels with any tuning/ software glitches uncorrected. If your dealer set up the BV11 I would ask him for advice if you cannot see the tuning options in the main menu. From recollection in my particular case there were two channels that had the recording problems that you describe, and Sky News was also missing altogether. Presumably something had interferred with the original tuning in some way ( bird on dish or aerial etc or poor aerial connection). Whatever was missing was enough to make those channels respond to a double click on the Beo4, but one click gave a blank screen which is what you also got if trying to record via the timer/ schedule menu. All the details of the programme and the white strip were showing on the hard disk contents, but nothing had been recorded. As you suggest in your original post, manual recording worked fine on these channels (once you had the picture on screen after double clicking the Beo4).
i would think it's important to do a complete channel search/ retune and not just ask the TV to check for new channels if that comes up as an option.
I think I later used the Beo4 for the favourites groupings etc but guess it could all be done via the iPad App.
