I still don't understand why B&O don't support/decode HD codecs in their TVs. And I Geoff don't answer this. Premium tv brand should support this I think. Just like do many other brands.

Well! at least this 'delicate issue' is now being recognized in Struer - I hope so at least.

I think question will only become more relevant since the trend is that most video and movies will be either streamed or sent from a hard drive or nas where the decoding essentially must be done at the player level (ie the TV - Beovision).

That is exactly my point in the comments on the blog-site.

Making an internal Mediaplayer without this support (for HD sound formats)  does not make sense!
