Since there are no connection for headphones on the V1 I searched for a solution and found two sites that sells an adapter. Are there anyone who has used headphones with an adapter on the V1? I have not yet invested in new headphones. Should I use easy driven closed headphones for best sound?
I also have a Beosystem 7000 that I was thinking of using the headphones as well.

Thanks, I will PM you if I have any problems when it comes to set it up. Does this solution work well? Guess I have no choice but to find out for myself. One can only wonder why B&O choose not to include a headphone connection to the V1.

I guess setup a new speaker group and dedicate this to a free RJ45 power link socket. (see technical sound guide)
Then make a custom adapter-cable from RJ45 to a female minijack where you can connect your headphone. Volume can be controlled with your beo4. Something like that?

Better late than never. I bought the H6 on friday last week. Had time to try them out earlier tonight on my Beosystem 7000. Can´t really complain of lacking bas thats for sure as I did when playing on my iPhone in the shop when the headphone was first released. To bad the cable is a bit short and that B&O don´t provide one without the remote for home use. They say that it´s for iDevices and have no plans of making one. Maybe if the customers demand it they would.
Also I still can´t believe that they built the V1 without a headphone connection. They could sell more headphones that way. How shortsighted they where. B&O say it´s not possible to connect a headphone. But I had seen that Boscom and Sounds Heavenly sell the correct adapter cable as you can see in the first post. I will get back once I have have tried myself. Is there maybe anyone who has bought the cable and tried for themselves since that first post?
Debating how long cable I need. If maybe it´s better to buy a short adapter cable and a longer one between it and the headphone. Any recommendation maybe? Boscom sell shorter ones than Sounds Heavenly. Need at least 2- 3 meters of cable to reach the sitting points around the V1. About the same around the Beosystem 7000.

Many years ago I had Form 1, but I don´t remember the cable length. Unfortunately I broke the frame and throw them away. Never even considering if I could buy it as a spare part from B&O at the time. Truth to be told I was never really happy with the Form 1 anyway.
It shall be interesting to see how good quality the H6 cable is. I am really unsatisfied with the charge- and headphone cables that Apple provide. I´m on my second set of charge cables for both my iPhone and MacBook Air. Last about a year it seems. Also on my second set of Apple headphones in about the same timeframe.
About matching speakers for the V1. Is it the Beovox CX100 you are thinking about or another speaker? I would guess that B&O developed the Beolab 14 to be sold with the V1 and BV11 as entry level speakers.
we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.
Mark:yes why is there not a headphone extension cable, I rarely use my H6's outdoors as they are not noise cancelling, too much sound leakage and I seem to get regularly garotted on the overcrowded train and tube. could they not wirelessly connect to TV and mucks sources ?

Interesting idea. Maybe B&O could manufacture a wireless receiver that you can keep in your pocket where you connect your H6 headphone and do a software solution to get around the fact that they "forgot" to put a physical headphone connection into the V1.
But then B&O could as well sell wireless headphones instead. And you need to charge the receiver.
If H6 owners wrote to B&O and more or less demanded that they sold an extension cable maybe they would give in. In almost every review you read on the internet this is something that is pointed at. Bowers & Wilkins P7 which is about the same price as the H6 delivers a cable without the remote and microphone for home use. Why not B&O? In my opinion they sounds much better connected to my Beosystem 7000 than my iPhone 4S. I bought the H6 to use at home. As you say they have no noise canceling function. If I where using them outdoors I would buy another kind of headphone than the H6.
