Is someone here using multiple Playmakers with Airplay and do they stay synced up?

k remember I had a setup like this with the 1st gen Airport express.

Or is sonos here the better choice?

I am a bit surprised that b&o doesnt push multi room capabilities more with the introduction of the Essence, so I am sensing it doesnt really work that well.

Cheers

JK

Afaik multi-room playing with airplay can only be done with a computer and it works in sync. From an iPad or iPhone you can only send music to one airplay speaker at the time.

However, possible to use the Remote app to control the Mac with iTunes server with multi room.

Yes, researching this j found out the same over the weekend.

That is for sure something Apple should look at supporting.

what i would expect it to do is when i come home recognize my wifi and switch to my last selected airplay speakers.

so sonos still has benefits at this point .....
