Have two 3000-2 amp/receivers I'm working on at the moment - one white, one teak. The white unit actually works perfectly already (had to clean the pots and switches), but I was intrigued by the fact that only the stereo indicator and the meter illumination worked. On investigation, some bright spark (pun intended) had replaced all the lamps (which should be 12v .03a except for the meter lamp), with 6v .08a types..... Putting the right lamps back in restored correct illumination to all the indicators including the differentials.
