In March 2012, I suggested B&O to produce the BeoLit 12 in white color.
Customers service replied me that they don't want because the product will be easily dirty.
Yesterday, just received the info from my dealer. BeoLit 12 will be available in white color in March 2014 !
It will take place easily near the swimming pool this summer !
we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.
Mark:a lost pr moment here in my mind. B&O should of recontacted you personally and offered a direct sale even if you said no it would be a unforgettable gesture.
Who is to say they won't, once the product is actually announced and available?
I'm not saying they will, but to criticise them for not doing so when the product isn't even out yet seems unfair.
I was wondering why they had a BeoLit 12 option without color name in the return page. I had bubbles in the top of my Beolit 12 and just got it picked up to struer today. I wonder how the white one looks :) I made a photoshop picture of a white Beolit quite a while ago.

I think it would even be nicer with a tan leather handle.
I order my dark grey one with a tan handle, I like it, but it is unable to maintain a stable connection via wifi.

I can't seem to find any information on an update there. Last software update was also a long time ago. I guess we'll have to stick with it, making sure both sender and beolit are placed in proximity of a wifi access point.

It is beyond my understanding why they choose the black handle for the white edition. Imho a light gray one would have been much nicer.
Somebody knows if the handle can be changed by the owner?

these lanterns from Holmegaard seem to fit in with the BeoLit theme.
