Beolab 12-2

Hello everyone, 

Long admirer of Bang Olufsen, I want to set up a stereo at home. I have a 1900-2 BeoMaster associated with Redline 45.

I am today interested in Beolab 12-2 wall bracket for a living room of <to 28m2. 

I find them nice and powerful sound, very fine with a clarity greater than the Beolab 3 with which I hesitate. What do you think?

I would appreciate your comments and feedback, particularly on the sound quality of these speakers.

Hello,

The BeoLabs 12 are my favourite loudspeakers. The aesthetic designed by David Lewis is gorgeous, pure and timeless.

Concerning the sound, you should mount the BeoLab 12 on a wall. The acoustic bass was designed to be mounted. The bass are coming from the reflexion on the wall.

The sound from tweeter is more clear and detailed with ALT version (12.2 and 12.3).

The bass are deeper and softener on 12.3.

For your room, the 12.2 is a good choice.

Hi, thanks for your answers. And what do you think about a comparaison between the Beolab 3 and Beolab 12/2 or even the new Beolab 17?

I have only heard BL3 and BL 17 in the shop so I could not compare against having BL 12s in my house.

Just got my BL 12.3s yesterday
