We've discussed that B&O had registered the name Beoclassic a few years ago, and we've even taken some time to speculate which products they would bring back, if they could. My question is for the Beoinsiders - are there any plans to revive and update some very popular product designs from the past? Perhaps the seeming success of updating the BL8000 to the BL18 will give them some encouragement?

I guess the Form2i if you call changing the cable a relaunch?

A new Avant based around the technologies of the V1, mid priced but with a more palatable image and stand. Built in Bluray like my cheapy laptop. There are many great TVs out there many of which are not cheap, and they are being mated with some sound bars of ever increasing sound quality and price. B&O should simply take out the middle man and offer both in one package.

A modernised Beovision 8 with a Bluray player, but made in China for the obvious reasons. Make it a loss leader if need be.

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

We can only hope for a BeoCenter 2 updated with an Oppo blu-ray player drive. Such a beautiful, classic B&O design that needs a new, updated life.

I always kind of wished for a combo of the Beocenter 2 and the Beosound 9000. 6 disc BluRay/CD player, built in Playmaker, and an outboard box to handle the additional electronics like the BC 2. Maybe with surround in the outboard processor. Would be hideously expensive but actually might have convinced me to go in debt.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad

Am I the only one who hankers after a re-worked HDR1, with storage greater than a flash drive?

Or a revisited X30 for people on a budget?

I would like to see them do a Ferrari style "Classiche" providing in house restoration, maintenance service and technical assistance.

and a modern interpretation of the Beovox 2500 please.

we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.
