Hi All,

I currently have a Beovision 7 with a BeoLab 7.1. I was considering getting some Beolab 6000's to use as rears, but the setup greys out setting the rears until you have set the fronts. Seems to loose some detail to when you set any front. Is it possible to use only beolab 7.1 and rears?

Only if you select them as front and place them physically in the rear.

Perhaps he prefers the sound of the 7.1 as fronts and would have better use of the 6000s if used as rear speakers. This would make a nice little surround sound system.

Choosing 'Speaker 5' (i order to have the rears active) means making a center channel from the 7.1.

They can't be frontspeakers - and without fronts you can't speak of 'surround sound'.
