Dear members,

I have a problem with a Beolink 7000. It's fully operational, but if untouched it doesn't rest in standby - neither when sitting on the charger nor when lying right on the floor. It goes to standyby and then right to operational mode again, then standby and so on. The mistake was made to have it sent when sitting on the floor charger. Could it have anything to do with that? Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks!

Kai

+1

One of my 7000s is also behaving exactly like that.

This is typical behaviour when batteries need to be replaced.

This is an easy task, I have done it several times. Just search the forum (and the old formum as well) for advice on the best battery type to use.

I must be NiCd batteries. NiMh will not last.

700 mAh is suitable. Don't go for high capacity batteries.

A long list...

Ah, thank you! haha, why didn't I think of that? :D

I actually have replaced them before in both my bl7000s, but in both cases I replaced them as soon as they started to go bad, i guess they never got this bad. :)
