refitted lid & MMC 3000 - for BeoGram 1102

Hi Everyone, 

This is my first post, I have recently purchased a Beogram 1102 and have a few questions. 

I have replaced the broken lid but now that I have put it back together with a new lid it wont sit down.   

Any suggestions?

I also have discovered an intermittent fault with my MMC 3000 Cartridge.  It tested fine but over the past few days has developed a fault with one channel and now sounds awful.  What are my best options for a replacement without spending a fortune.

Rebuilds of the B&O cartridges are done by Axel in Germany at this place
