Hi,

When i watch TV on my BV 7-55, volume 55-60 is more than adequate. When i watch a Bluray disc i can often be at 75 or more, and not exactly be bringing down the rafters. Is the volume too high on the TV(good) or too low on the Bluray(boo)

The 7-6 is the first speaker since the Avant, that it is so good i haven't considered it necessary to supplement it. Fantastic stuff.

Hi Chris,

with my BV 7-40 Mk6 the sound level of the internal Bluray player (same in 7-40 and 7-55) and TV (Technisat receiver connected via HDMI A and PUC controlled) is nearly the same. I use volume 50 as standard and 75 would damage my ears.

You can't adjust the volume level of Bluray player. Did you check the software version of the player? You can upgrade yourself if needed, actual is BODTBB52.

Had the software updated about an hour ago. Will try a DVD later on. Listening to music on Apple TV at the moment, with the volume at 64 it's loudish but not crazy.
