Hi there,
I use a BeoMaster 1700 in the office for radio and via adapter for ipod-listening. It had the "dials" for sound adjustment broken a while ago which didn't bother me too much, because I wasn't using it too much. But I happened to use it more often these days, so I thought about repairing it.
Off course the rubber belts start to disband also, but that's a minor flaw. What is bothering me most is the sound adjustment.
Here's the situation: I can turn the left belt and adjust volume, but there is no way changing the bass, treble and balance levels. A look on the inside shows some broken plastic on those dials. I can still move the indicators manually and change those levels in this way. So I guess it is no electronic but a simple mechanical problem (simple...as long as there are spare parts that is).
Sooooo,
does any one have spare parts for those mechanical „level-movers“ (sorry, no idea, what they might be called)? From looking at the service manual I guess it's a whole block, called module 14, part # 5310089.
And while already asking, does someone have the rubber belts as spares? ;-)
Yours kindly,
Ray
