Hi guys,
I've got another little nagging issue that I hope someone can help with....
I currently have 4x speakers connected to my beomaster 5000 (pizza box) as follows -
2x mirage m290s (nominal 6 ohm's minimum 4 ohm's) - connected to speaker socket 1
and 2x JBL E60s (8 ohm's) connected to speaker socket 2
This works well except when I want to use headphones due to the muting circuit relay only being on socket 1.
Would I be safe to connect both sets of speakers to socket 1 or will this be too much load on the amp? And would it be better to connect them in series or parallel?
Thanks in advance,
Lee

The way you have them now connects them technically in parallel (when both pairs are playing), so connecting two speakers in parallel to Speakers 1 won't change anything as far as the amp is concerned. As DMacri said, the amp is well prepared for that (and more).
