I have a Bv 7-55 which can move the surround set from one position (say looking at the tv) to another position (extra center channel on a side wall for projector). I know the Bv11 not got projector out but can the Bv 11 move the surround position around like the Bv7? Or will the projector screen need to be in front of the Bv11???
Thanks.
I would suspect the answer is yes. You can connect 11 speakers to the bv11 and assign them to 9 different speaker groups, each with it's own speaker roles and listening distances.
BeoVision 11-55, BeoLab 8000, BeoRemote One BT, AppleTV 4, 2x BeoPlay A2, BeoPlay A1

The initial answer is "yes". As the previous response indicates, you have 9 available "Speaker Groups" that give you the option of changing the Speaker Role, Speaker Level and Speaker Distance for all loudspeakers connected to your BV11. So, you can not only change which loudspeaker is "left front" (for example) but also have different settings for different listening positions or surround configurations (i.e. one Speaker Group might be 5.1 and another might be "pure" 2.0 stereo for the same listening position). This is basically equivalent to the "TV" and "Cinema" settings in the BV7 - but you have 9 of them instead of just 2.
However, if your BV7 has the AST algorithm (which allows you to set a rotation angle of the entire sound stage in angular steps of one-degree around the listening position), then the answer is "no". The BV11 does not have the AST function.
