I have a BeoSystem 3 connected to a Samsung TV and also a Samsung projector. I currently have the Samsung projector and an HDMI Expander controlled by the BeoSystem 3 via a Y-splitter (part 7229212 purchased from B&O) connected to the IR 1+2. I would like the BeoSystem 3 to be able to turn the Samsung tv on and off, but I'm not sure how to achieve this. Wouldn't the IR flasher for the TV control need to be connected to the same connection of the Y-splitter that the IR flasher for the HDMI Expander currently is using? Perhaps a more important question is if one can control BOTH an HDMI Expander and a non-B&O tv with the BeoSystem 3?
