All,
Is there any way to connect a Beogram 6500 turntable to any of the newer B&O systems / TVs, etc out there, which would allow control from a Beo4 / BeoRemote One?
If I'm not mistaken, especially since since a Beo4 (maybe the new ones don't), have "PHONO" as a List item -- which may only switch the system over to the PHONO source, but do nothing to actually operate the turntable. Are there adapters available to allow for connectivity and communication, or will I be resigned for up close operation only?
Close control only I'm afraid. The last audio to implement datalink was the Beocenter 2300 of the upright range.

Thank you, I wasn't expecting that it was possible, now it is confirmed.
There might be a chance for you if the equipment you want the BG 6500 connected to is VIDEO only and has Masterlink. You could try a beolink converter 1611 connected to the masterlink and the BG 6500 connected to the AUX-Link connector of the beolink convertor. Activating PHONO should start the BG If PHONO is not available try NETMUSIC or NETRADIO (don't know which one represents the 'old' PHONO). CD2 could also be a possibility to get the BG controlled by the remote.
/*EDIT*/
Forgot to mention that the video option should be set to '2' so that the TV will receive the 'PHONO' command and route it to masterlink so that the converter can convert the command to a Dtalink command which will hopefully control the BG6500.
