Dear members,

one of my Beolab 3 speakers played at too low volume. Therefore, the ICE module had to be replaced. Do you think it is possible to repair the faulty part?

Greetings,

Kai

Hi Kai,

Can you post a picture of the part in question? I have some different circuit boards lying around somewhere, which I have a feeling could belong to BL3s, but I'm not sure, if that's what they are for. Will go dig them out in the weekend.

Dear Dennis,

will send you one by mail if that's ok.

I've read a couple of times on here that it's not efficient/close to impossible to repair these boards. I'm not a technician but have a feeling that that's a pity. Since the amplifier is still playing perfectly but at too low volume, my uneducated guess would be that some transistor in the power amplifier has developed a defect. Or am I being too naive here?

Cheers,

Kai

Seems to be a server error on the site. Let's wait whether it can be fixed. If I can do anything, please let me know.
