In the last couple of weeks I've noticed 3 posts on here asking weather or not the sale of some beolab 5 speakers is a scam or not.
Well all 3 of the different listings all stole my photographs, I just want to give a heads up to anyone wanting to purchase beolab 5's
If there too cheap and sounds too good to be true then stay well away. Don't buy off some dodgy looking site just search ebay and stay away from new sellers (Not saying all new sellers are scams) But someone with more feedback and a higher ebay score with also use paypal, And have a buyer protection to cover you for the FULL amount where as a new buyer there paypal limit is only £2000
Best of all just ask on here the people respond quick :)
or try catch the crooks out ask for the serial number and the modal number and year that always makes them panic :P
One thing I look for with these sellers is what they have sold in the past. If the seller has sold a fair amount of high-end AV equipment, not to mention other B&O, I usually think he or she is legit.
Also, if the seller says nothing about the item but just copies the product information from this site, I usually think it's a scam.
