Turned on my BV11 this morning to view the slideshow from Radio Paradise whilst at the same listening to the sound from my radio streamer (via completely separate system not linked to the BV11).
Suddenly the sound started also coming from the BV11 and I was able to turn off the other system. Has a software update suddenly enabled the BV11 to stream N Radio?
Graham
You probably are watching the 'slideshow' through the web section on the 11 - and the audiostream comes through as well.
That is not the WebRadio function working in the Avant - and that everybody wishes would come for the 11 and the V1.
Could you paste the url of that station - for trying out for others, please.

There is a tv - and there is a BV

You might well be right, and of course the station may have done something different with its output.
However, going to <www.radioparadise.com> on the BV11 in the past would not stream any sound, and clicking on the slideshow on their homepage would give you the slideshow with no sound.
This remained the case until yesterday, but today clicking on the slideshow button also produced sound on the TV.
When using a radio streaming device such as Roku or Olive One, this particular station gives you a very large choice of streaming qualities.
Hi Graham,
the stream does actually start - listening to Peter Gabriel now.
You can choose up to 192 kbps.
The slideshow is quite nice (if you want your screen turned on listening to music).
Worth trying out, if you need music playing and want to let others deside what to play.
It is adfree!
BUT - the NetRadio function of the Avant would be the much better way to do internet radio.
I tried the radio stations from the webside of our danish broadcaster (Dr.dk), but nothing plays.
Different ways of streaming - obviously!
If others find working radio stations, do post the names/urls here.
Yes, Radio Paradise is a one man band station that puts the others to shame!
No ads or unnecessary commentary, and a nice mix of music.
I've been comparing the output via the BV11 with the vintage BM 2000 with S45 speakers, fed by the Olive One. The BV11 has an impressive sound output but it is not as good as the S45's!

your BV11 is a DLNA renderer since one of the latest updates. This mean you can stream to Homedia. presumably your separate system is DLNA capable and can steam there for to your BV11
note: one can switch this renderer funtion on and off in the set-up
