Hi,

My beogram 6002 has been stored away last 15 years. Took it up the other day, plugged it in, but nothing happens. No lights,...nothing. Pushing any of the buttons doesn't do anything.

- Most likely a fuse?

- Is there a guide on how to open up/service it somewhere on the net?

Thanx guys,

Dave

Dave,

you only need the resources here on Beoworld!  If you upgrade to silver or gold, you get access to all of the service manuals.  If you search the forum for posts related to tangential decks, BG400-4004, 6000, 6002, 8000 etc you should find what you need to know including the restoration thread by one of our members who runs condoraudio.

Dave.

Sounds good Dave, thanks. I tried doing a search, but couldn't find anything related. Would you be able to point me directly to the restoration thread?

If you open the Condoraudio link and look to the 'Projects' section on the right you will find the info about the BG 4000 to 6000 which is broadly similar.

The closest TT to it is the BG4002.  Just type that into the Beoworld search box for now.

Dave.
