I am thinking about putting my DVD player and perhaps some other things under my sofa for easy access and a good place to hide the big boxes. I think that might be a good idea (perhaps). Therefore I am getting a 10 meter hdmi cable to try. But.. how long is the included puc cables with the new tvs? I am switching the cable I got with my avant and my v1 since the v1 has two pucs and avant came with one. Can I buy longer cables? I ask here first, because it is faster :)
Beolab 50, Beolab 8000 x 2, Beolab 4000 x 2, BeoSound Core, BeoSound 9000, BeoSound Century, BeoLit 15, BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay P2, BeoPlay H9 3rd Gen, BeoPlay H6, EarSet 3i, BeoVision Eclipse Gen 2 55", BeoPlay V1-40, BeoCom 6000 and so much else :)
If my memory serves me well - the (RJ45) puc cables are 7.5 m.

Hi Michael,
Hope that you had a fab holiday!
Moxxey is your guy to tok to regarding long HDMI cables. I'm sure that he mentioned he had a 10m one with no problems!
Have a look at these QED cables. Theirs go up to 15m!

I was using 15m HDMI cables with my BV7-40 for a while without issue, although the same cables with a Sony LCD TV I had before would not work at 1080p (but were fine at 720p/1080i) so I reckon this is right on the limit.
I also extended the PUC cables to a similar length without issue.
I've since moved the set-top boxes from my AV rack in my under stairs cupboard, to some cupboards I built closer to the TV, so no longer have these very long cables but it can work.
Martin.

Hi Paul! Yes I did. I had a nice flight on the Dreamliner. It was nice and the rest of the trip too, had a lot of fun! I am going to try a cheaper HDMI cable first and see how that works out. I just have a dvd player (that scales up to 1080p very nicely) and I hope it will work fine. Not sure how long but I think I´ll buy 10 meters, its just 15 dollars! This is how my flight was spent most of the time:)
