Beocord 2400 Paused

Hello.

I'm new to B&O ownership and just bought an old Beocord 2400 cassette deck. 

The pause button is constantly in the down position. Is this something I can fix myself?

Welcome to Beoworld!

I hope, you can see, not knowing exactly what the cause is and not knowing your skills, that's a very difficult question for us to answer.

If you feel safe around tech stuff and electronics, take a look inside and let us know your findings.
If not, I suggest you leave servicing to someone who does.

Could be as simple as a spring that has broken or come off.

I do actually have someone who knows what he's doing (coincidentally called Martin!) coming to see it tomorrow.

I'll let you know what happens.
