Have tried to hook up a Pioneer Rondo Turntable and no volume ?. Can't find info anywhere re: does the 4500 have a pre-amp at phono input stage ? It would appear not.Can anyone confirm one way or the other please ?

Thanks

Noel.

Beomaster 4500 has no in-build RIAA.

An RIAA board was available as an accessory. I had a Beomaster 4500 with one fitted so someone else may have one in a spares box.

Hi Noel,

The other option is to add an external phono RIAA pre-amp to boost the signal from the turntable: http://soundsheavenly.com/beogram-record-players/12-pre-amp-bundle-for-bo-beogram-and-all-turntables.html

Kind regards, Steve.
