Hi. Just acquired a Beogram 2202 in good condition. I was also fortunate enough to have a friend give me a good (and tested by myself on his beocenter 7002) MMC20EN.

My intention is to use it with my BS3000 and I know I need a RIAA amp for the deck for this, along with the necessary connecting cables. ( stand by Steve, sounds heavenly), therefore I have not actually heard the deck playing yet but on first inspection all seems good with the arm lifting, tracking and returning as expected.

I do have a couple of issues I was hoping you good people may be able to advise me on. The left hinge is  dislodged from the body on the lid, so the lid does not stay up. Is the easily fixed? Secondly the start button doesn't seem to work but on the advise of my friend I have discovered pressing stop and turn together actually starts the deck. The pause button doesn't work either. Any advise?

I know the deck needs a disc on the plattern  to work, I am using and old (unloved) LP for this.
