We've had a power socket problem (caused by me trying to install a Phillips Hue hub) and on plugging the V1 back on the light is flashing red. The cable tv box and router are not connected . Is it to do with the need to reconfigure or could it be the TV damaged by a power surge when the Hue transformer exploded !

Could be because the pincode is activated...
Or because of an on-going update.

Manual says slow red means use PIN.
Fast red could be software update underway, or a WAIT warning after too many wrong PIN entries.

We've never activated the pin code on the V1 but used it on our MXs . The Beoplay logo does not come up . Does that come after pin entry ?
Im leaving it for today . A it stressed!
The B&O dealer used a really cheap extension cord for the install but there was a fuse on the plug and the double power socket no longer works on that side . I'm rambling .....
My V1 had the PIN activated per default.
Why not just contact your dealer.
I called the dealer today and he will be sending a guy round on Monday . He researched it and suggested the red light may be for a PCB gone. An electrician is coming Tomorrow . In the mean time the distraught children are using the Beocenter 6 .
Update; the Tv is fine , and the equipment in the B&O installation , but the electrician said that the Phillips Hue control hub adapter should not render the wall socket nonfunctional .

And luckily all was well once the wall socket was replaced and it asked for the pin code . Phew . Now what can I buy with the money I don't have spend on a new tv?
