Hi,
I was interested in buying a 2nd hand Beomaster 6000, but when tested, all buttons from main dashboard can switch on the amp (P1 to P6, + TP1 - TP2) except for the PH (phono) button…Does this amp need to have a turntable connected and on to be able to switch on when pressing the "PH" button or is this a faulty Beomaster ?
Sounds like a bad switch or bad ribbon cable socket soldering.
