Beocord 4500 - no audio output, but LEDs indicate max output

Hi all, 

I've just acquired a Beocord 4500 that has a perfect transport (a first for me!) but no audio out into either my Beomaster 5500 or 8000.

All the logic via the 8 pin DIN works properly and it looks really nice, but deadly silence (and I mean really silent, no hiss or hum at all. 

I have the circuit diagram, but no troubleshooting guide.

Any advice would be appreciated

Missing 8V reference voltage would be my guess.
C75 maybe.
