New member here.  I've been struggling for a couple of days with issues on setting up my BeoSound Stage with a new 2021 model LG C1 series TV.

I've worked my way through the setup with some great help from the B&O help desk folks.  I'm an old guy that barely knows how Apple Airplay and Google Home work on a wireless network.

The Beosound Stage is now is now up and running through the eARC HDMI connection on the TV with one problem.  I can't control the volume with the LG TV remote control.  I've tried resets, unplugging/plugging back in, etc.  I've been through ever item in the LG settings and can't find a problem.  I contacted the LG help-desk, and the technician had never heard of Bang & Olufsen and said he would get back to me in a half hour.  That didn't happen.  I finally hit my frustration point and ordered a Beoremote One today, but I hate being dumb and not being able to figure out my problem.

Thanks to anyone that has a suggestion.

I did not have the ethernet cable connection.  I did this, and also downloaded the B&O app from the LG store on to the TV.  I'm not sure which one was the solution, but I can now control the volume from the TV remote.  I will say that I didn't have to do this on my 2019 LG C9 series TV.  But with a new 2021 LG C1 series TV, this needed to be done.  Interesting.

Thank you for your help.

In your initial post you wrote: I can't control the volume with the LG TV remote control.’

Was that you intention?

If yes - I am curious - why don’t you want to use the Beoremote One?

There is a tv - and there is a BV
