B&O work together with Spotify and Deezer because they are (almost) worldwide accessable.
Qobuz and WiMP are 'too small'
Maybe some time in the future we will have the choice.
Personally I would go for these, because they are offering lossless streaming.
At the moment (no pun intended) I use WiMP in the HiFi version.
N.B. I haven't heard anything abut any unvitation.
A dealer, I spoke to recently, said that it would be foolish to have a launch in the midsummer time.
He also said, that they mostly aren't informed untill shortly before the new products would be presented.

They did the same with BeoSound Essence and WISA speakers.
the problem is that this kind of products require an intensive training of the dealers because the majority of them aren't very comfortable with all the dematerialized music devices... T
hey totally don't understand the Essence, so without time to train for the Moment, they will be like... Hmmm... B&O dealers trying to sell Beosound 5 Encore!

P.S. We will have to watch out for the B&O Facebook site - seems that they are giving hints for new products there nowadays.

Like I wrote you in February, the new BeoSound Moment is a tablet.
The choice of name BeoPad would have been more significant.
We will soon see if the BS Moment is just a tablet.

I agree that it's bad "marketing"/branding given the strength of "Beo" - would be like Apple deciding to go for YouWatch or something.
On the other hand (no pun intended) "Essence" was a change in naming to try to capture the design thought ... and I suspect "Moment" to "Moment" would be similar
I will be VERY excited if comes out that soon
And I will confess that I for one STILL do not understand Essence and its value proposition for my environment

The op puts about a rumour and stays away from the thread - I don't like that.

I wish I knew more, I was tempted to call them and ask them what they were on about....
I didn't want to drive to Luzern though.
Edit : just checked their website... it mentions the event... they'll be talking about the BV Avant and their 'next' Audio system... doesn't mention anything about 'moment' like their invite did.
