Did you notice, that Tue - in the Q&A - mentioned, that there will be no new tv range(s) in the next years, but that there will be improvements in the existing.

Whatever that (apart from different screen sizes) might be Confused

Where's the improvement there?

I informed you allready last year that B&O will stopped development on new TV. Some didn't believe me. Bang & Olufsen loose money with TVs. I am sure they will not produce TVs in future. Sad

Well - what is left then..? Only some wireless loudspeakers..? And a few devices for streaming audio..? This is truly sad, if so... Sad

Maybe you have some kind of insider-information - I don't know.

Personally I think, that you are guessing!

B&O don't earn a lot of money with tv's, that's right - but they don't loose money.

Besides ist a BV often avehicle for selling loudspeakers, so....

That they for the next years are staying by two lines (don't know how long the V1 will be in the portefolio) is wise.

They will be produced in different sizes, and - as Tue noted - their functionallity will be improved over time.

Should be enough to choose from for most people.

What are you actually missing Confused

What are you actually missing ?

Nowadays every people try to spend less money, the middle class in particular.

In order to earn 200 euros more, they just forget that they gave you their word.

I have the really sad feeling that in europa the middle class is forgetting its rich´s dreams.

4 beolab 5,  beolab 9, beolab 10, beolab 5000, beolab 8000 mk2, beolab 6002, beolab 3500, beovision 7 55 mk2,  2 beovision 11 46 mk4, beotime, beosound ouverture, beosound essence, beoplay A8, beomaster 900 RG de luxe and the collection continues...

Did I read right that Beoplay sales declined 16 percent in B1 and shop in shops?

Yes, I don't understand the fascination of having a new TV model every 12-24 months. There is no need to keep churning out new TV models just for the sake of it or because SonySamLG do...

We have the pretty BV11 in different sizes 40, 46 and 55 and very soon I am sure for those wanting it a BV11-4K will arrive.

For those that don't like the BV11 design, the BV Avant is here with 4K and again soon enough different sizes will appear.

Anything smaller wanted, I'd go with the V1.

Three TV lines, why do we need more?

B&O could benefit from:

1. turning the remaining speakers into WISA.

2. updating the Beolab 5.

2. sorting out the Beosound Moment asap.

3. finalising new Netlink.

4. refining the software on the existing devices.

5. improving the shop experience.

6. improving aftercare.

7. supporting its existing dealers better.

so many lovely things to focus on to make B&O better. I am not of the opinion that another BV Tv is needed. If my memory serves me right didin't B&O develop a new TV infrequently perhaps evry few years in the past?

.

Present: BL90, Core, BL6000, CD7000, Beogram 7000, Essence Remote.

Past: BL1, BL2, BL8000, BS9000, BL5, BC2, BS5, BV5, BV4-50, Beosystem 3, BL3, DVD1, Beoremote 4, Moment.

@Barry

Looks pretty much like the roadmap of B&O - the 5 as number 1, though.

But you seem to have forgotten the BeoPlay brand!
